Make your own word scramble
Choose a topic or enter your own words, one per line. Use up to 12 words with 3–16 letters each, including names or classroom vocabulary. Select New game to shuffle the letters again.
To play online, type an answer next to each jumble and select Check answers. The expected answer is the word from your chosen list. A different arrangement may form a real word without being the intended answer for this worksheet.
Printable word scramble worksheets with answers
Open More options, choose A4 or Letter and include the answer key if you want a separate solutions page. Select Print / save PDF, then choose your printer or Save as PDF. Your typed answers are left off the worksheet.

Add your own background photo

Frequently asked questions
Can I use my own words?
Yes. Select the custom word option and enter up to 12 words with 3–16 letters each. Duplicates and words outside these limits are skipped.
Do answers have to be uppercase?
No. Answers are checked without regard to capitalization. A correct answer is displayed as it appears in the original list.
Can I download the worksheet with my photo?
Yes. Add your photo under More options, then select Print / save PDF. Choose Save as PDF in your browser. The downloaded file includes the photo; the page link does not.
