Which paper to choose

  • Lined: plain ruled lines, like notebook paper. Narrow for adults, wide for early writers.
  • Handwriting (3 lines): baseline, dashed midline (the height of small letters) and top line (tall letters like b, d, l).
  • Handwriting (4 lines): adds a bottom line for letters that drop below, like g, j, p, q and y.
  • Graph: squares for math, charts and neat block letters.
  • Millimeter: 1 mm squares with heavier lines every 5 and 10 mm.
  • Dot grid: a grid of dots for drawing, bullet journals and lettering.

How to print at the right size

Tap Print / save as PDF. Under More options, choose Letter (the default) or A4. In the print dialog, select the same paper size and set the scale to 100% (or “actual size”), so the spacing comes out exactly as chosen. If your printer cuts off the edges, choose a wider margin.

Add your own background photo

Open More options → Background photo and choose a JPG, PNG or WebP photo up to 20 MB. Adjust its opacity, fit and position. A light background keeps the letters and numbers easy to read.

Your photo appears in the preview, printed pages and PDF, including the answer key. It is processed in your browser, never uploaded to Lexiwi and never included in shared links. Choose it again after reloading or closing the page.

Frequently asked questions

What is the line spacing on regular notebook paper?

College ruled paper has lines about 7 mm (9/32 in) apart and wide ruled about 8.7 mm (11/32 in). Here, narrow is 7 mm, medium 9 mm and wide 12 mm.

What is handwriting paper for?

The guide lines show how tall each letter should be: small letters reach the dashed midline, tall letters the top line and descenders the bottom line. That helps kids write with even, consistent sizes.

Can I add a name and date line?

Yes. Turn on the name and date header, and choose no extra margin, normal or wide.

Can I download the worksheet with my photo?

Yes. Add your photo under More options, then select Print / save PDF. Choose Save as PDF in your browser. The downloaded file includes the photo; the page link does not.
